Post updating update

After updating my three WordPress websites, one of them today has been reporting back information at StatCounter.

That’s a bit of a relief.  Now I know that something is working even though I know for a fact that my website has seen more traffic than what was reported and I still would like to know other critical pieces of information.  This is a good start even though it still needs further investigation.

It’s time to head back to the forums and see what other people suggest doing.  Another theory is that there’s some kind of interference with the programming of the templates that’s blocking the StatCounter script from operating correctly.  I don’t want to, but I may have to temporarily change templates to a default one and see if StatCounter works that way.

Today I went through the add-ons directory and found a few new features that I added to my Mozilla Firefox Internet browser.  Some of the add-ons that I installed into my browser were “GooglePreview,” “Screen grab!” and “SearchStatus.”  I’ve played around with it on a few websites, and the SearchStatus add-on looks like it will be handy to help optimism my websites and the SEO status.  That should be a pretty good tool for further website development and SEO optimization research.

Hooray for Firefox and third-party add-ons!
