The software is installed and the first phase of my digital picture collection is now available at the above link.
This photo album is a collection of new and old picture highlights from many of my past trips around town and to vacation destinations. Examples will be available from my collection of cameras from my 2 megapixel Sony Ericsson cell phone to my Canon PowerShot S3 IS and pocket sized Canon A470.
Some of the pictures are duplicates from my different collections on my Myspace and Facebook pages. I don’t like splitting up my pictures or having the same ones posted on each of the social networking websites, so those that were available out there are now going to be here as well as new pictures from old sets. Having my own website also gives me control over how the images are displayed and how many I can have out there.
This also gives me more opportunities to test out different SEO techniques with file names, titles and descriptions of the pictures.
As always, this photo collection is a work in progress and will never be finished as long as I can still go out in the world and take photos.
